About Tony DiTerlizzi
Tony DiTerlizzi is an accomplished author and illustrator known for his captivating storytelling and stunning artwork. Born on September 6, 1969, in Los Angeles, California, DiTerlizzi developed a passion for drawing and storytelling at a young age. He attended the Florida School of the Arts and later graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
DiTerlizzi gained widespread recognition for his work as the co-creator and illustrator of the bestselling children’s series “The Spiderwick Chronicles,” written by Holly Black. The series, consisting of five books, follows the adventures of the Grace children as they encounter magical creatures and embark on daring quests.
In addition to “The Spiderwick Chronicles,” DiTerlizzi has authored and illustrated numerous other books, ranging from picture books to middle-grade novels.
